When my family moved to downtown Beaver Falls in the summer of 2011, we had a crew of friends helping us unload the moving truck. As I brought some items into the basement, I noticed among my group of friends was a man I'd never seen before, joking and setting down some large items. This man was my next-door neighbor, who saw a chance to help a new neighbor and jumped right in.
This has been my experience of living in our city: fast neighbors who take care of one another. We know each other and we look out for each other. This city has taught me about being part of a community, and I'm proud to call myself a resident of Beaver Falls, PA.
