Volunteer with us!

The Beaver Falls CDC relies on members and volunteers in our attempt to revitalize the community. Please consider volunteering in the following ways:

- Neighborhood Block Parties: In August, in honor of “National Night Out,” the CDC hosts block parties in various Beaver Falls’ neighborhoods. Want one on your block? Together, we can make that happen!

- Spaces in-Between: Various community groups fundraise, plan and develop vacant lots in the core business district of 7th Ave. Know about a vacant lot that needs some beauty?

- Beaver Falls Lecture Series: Volunteers are needed to coordinate this annual event in March and April which includes creating a theme, identifying speakers, and set-up.

- Public Art Review Board: As we receive mural ideas and suggestions, this committee approves or disapproves what can be displayed as public art.

- Fundraising Banquet: We need several volunteers to coordinate our annual fundraising banquet in the fall. This may include working out the menu, décor, invitations, and various other activities.

- Falls Friday Market: We will need volunteers for some set up & tear down. The Market will take place every Friday from the end of May through October.

- Grant-writing: We need ideas, suggestions, help with researching grant opportunities, and anyone with experience in grant-writing.

- Graphic Design: We could use help designing promotional materials, newsletters, and web design.

- Technology: Good with websites, fundraising software, social media, etc.? We’d love to hear your input!

- Other opportunities: Want to be more involved in the community but not sure how? Do you have your own idea for a project you’d like to do? Please reach out! We’d love to chat and see how we can work together!
