You know, I'm not actually 'from' Beaver Falls. You can't say you are from here if you weren't born here. I moved here in 1998, so I'm an import, but this place is truly home to me. I live in a wonderful neighborhood where people know and love each other. I've met dedicated, committed Christians of deep faith who know how to "love thy neighbor." I've found young people from all walks of life who are willing to help make positive changes in this city. I've seen first hand the excellent education our students receive, whether in public or private school. We have Geneva College, with all of it's cultural, spiritual and academic treasures sitting right in the middle of our little city.
And I've had the privilege to watch the CDC evolve into a viable, progressive organization that is dedicated to doing all things well, and doing all things for the good of the city. The only thing we really need is for more people to join us in working and planning and strategizing so we can ensure that Beaver Falls may continue to be a vibrant city for years to come.
